Retirement Unlimited, Incorporated, a premiere provider of over 21 Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Communities is seeking a Project Development Manager in the Richmond area!
The Project Development Manager will lead project teams consisting of architects, design engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, real estate brokers and environmental consultants. Collaborating with the project development teams including content and software delivery teams and key stakeholders throughout project to resolve schedule, resourcing or financial issues or address revisions in prioritization.
- Analyze and create project scope and milestones for several company initiatives.
- Managing vendors regarding SOWs, invoicing, delivery of deliverables
- Manage the handling and assigning of daily tasks within the company.
- Provide weekly project activity updates to Team Lead for Project Schedule, Budget, and Risk within Project Management web-based tools.
- Manage vendors (GC, A&E, Specialty vendors) to ensure full compliance with all project policies and procedures, including the formal closeout of all projects in less than 80 days after project completion.
- Attending meetings with various engineering disciplines, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Providing mentorship and guidelines to team members through all stages of multiple dimensional projects, and during various stages of development
- Completing project documentation as required
- Help define and scope data science projects with government agencies.
- Hold regular meetings with all departments to ensure open communication and expectations throughout a project.
- Address customer concerns in reference to products, services rendered or employee interactions.
- Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior.
- Ensure proper communication concerning changes in established milestones or challenges that may affect the outcome of a project's completion date.
- Communicate and organize with team members to increase the company's outreach.
- Providing mentorship and guidelines to team members through all stages of multiple dimensional projects, and during various stages of development
Skills:
- Experience organizing training initiatives for departments within the company.
- Extensive knowledge of management theory and practical applications in the workplace
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments.
- Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
- Instructional experience in a group business setting preferred.
- Proficient using Microsoft Suite and other data entry software.
