POSITION SUMMARY

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Environmental Engineering, Construction and Remediation Practice in Cleveland, OH.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, team-oriented individual looking for continued career growth building from 5-10 years of environmental engineering experience including professional engineer licensure and a fundamental knowledge of hydrogeological investigation and contaminant transport.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Demonstrate excellence and efficiency in writing, communication, data analysis, professional judgment, and knowledge of engineering and scientific principles.
• Manage environmental investigation and brownfields remediation projects
• Coordinate with field staff and other Project Managers to plan and execute investigation and remediation projects
• Interface with clients and work with client service manages and account leads in securing and growing new and flow business. Prepare work scope and budget for new proposal opportunities.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility and work ethic.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Demonstrate strong quality assurance/quality control skills to perform technical, style and consistency reviews.
• Manage time effectively and balance multiple fast-paced project assignments.
• Understand standards, regulations, and guidance that apply to environmental engineering and environmental due diligence.
• Prioritize safety and have working knowledge of industry health and safety practices.
• Are conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project.

• B.S. Degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or other related disciplines.
• Should have 5-10 years in environmental consulting/engineering
• Candidate will possess excellent communication and writing, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple deadlines for multiple clients and project managers.
• Experience with Brownfields project management is preferred
• Business development skills and willingness to make connections in the marketplace a plus
• Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license is preferred but not required
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
• Good written and verbal communication skills, good mechanical and computer skills
• Results oriented, decisive, take charge, extroverted, persuasive, adapts to change, sense of urgency, self- directed, self-reliant and able to understand big picture
• 40-hr HAZWOPER certification and an up-to-date 8-hr annual refresher course.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and motor vehicle records check.
