The basic function of a Production Manager is to manage the installtion of the roof. They are responsible for strategic planning and reviewing each project daily as well as implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Coordinates with sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure the projects are completed from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner. Understands roofing practices, codes and regulations. This position will report directly to the general manager.

TASKS:

• Promote cooperation, communication and coordination between the job site and the office.
• Ensure that the information flow and instructions needed to complete the job is shared and ensure that the process is efficient.
• Ensure all work is completed in a craftsman like manner and to the specification, and satisfaction of the customer.
• Make decisions regarding manpower and equipment needs to keep production flowing.
• Review work in progress to assure that schedules are being maintained

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable, can work well under pressure.
• Detail oriented.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to walk on roofs
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Ability to lead a field team.
• Must have a vehicle transport material
• Must have a VALID FL driver's license
• Comply with OSHA requirements
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places, regular use of a ladder.
