Project Manager - Full-Time, Days (Culver City)

The Project Manager coordinates and manages all assigned projects/renovations. Works closely with vendors, facility leadership, and department staff to successfully mitigate risks and complete project deliverables within the defined timeframe and established budget. Communicates and schedules outside vendor work to accommodate the business needs, while ensuring vendor compliance with stated service level agreements. Ensures the timely resolution of issues.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Provides effective leadership while managing and coordinating all assigned projects/renovations. Ensures that projects achieve objectives on time, within budget and conform to specifications. Reviews budget forecasts and business cases with applicable stakeholders. Manages expectations with clients on deliverables and dates related to client requests.
- Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communicates changes to design plans to Management. Keep abreast of federal, state and local building codes and issues to assure Prospects compliance with them.
- Follows all hospital/office policies and procedures, federal, state and local regulatory agencies and organizations such as California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), Center for Medicare and Medical Services (CMS), The Joint Commission (TJC), Department of Public Health and Human Services (CDPH), Fire Departments, and City Ordinances. Escalates issues as appropriate
- Maintains proactive working relationships with vendors, ensuring that the highest work ethic (including appearance) and reliability are maintained among them. Ensures that all equipment and facilities carry appropriate maintenance and emergency service coverage contracts. Negotiates superior pricing for the company, and approves invoices from vendors. Ensures that all goods and services delivered by vendors are accounted for and stored appropriately.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: Two (2) years of project management experience in healthcare required. Previous vendor management experience. Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executive leadership, directors, managers, vendors, etc. Strong time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Strong computer skills with Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Ability to build and maintain strong relationship at all levels of the organization. Five (5) years project management experience preferred.
