Hi there, we are a family owned and operated Restaurant here in Sarasota Florida, specifically on the south end of the Siesta Key Island. We would love to welcome a Custodian role to our workplace while we transition in this times.

The Job will be a morning routine of restaurant cleaning and maintenance, which should only consume about 3-4 hours of your morning schedule. Hours anywhere between 7am - 2 pm. (For example 7am -11am ; 10am - 2pm). This work is very important to the owner for he was the one getting it done up until this moment. However, he needs someone he can trust to do the role he created and maintained for these last 19 years, while he handles other owner tasks.

- Window cleaning

- Leaf Blowing

- Trash collection and pick up

- Utensil spot, plate, floor, and glassware spot check (recleaning any items that were missed the night before)

- Tidying the entry

- Inspecting, cleaning, keeping up Restrooms (we just have one mens and one womens)

- Exterior trash clean up (remove any unnecessary or unwanted trash from the previous night) for a beautifully effect.

- Clearing critters, lizards, and anything that crept in

- Floor maintance (we do have a nightly mopping but theres always something to assist after each night)

The role is specific to the Front of the House, we have a kitchen team that works in the back from 9am- close so you will be accompanying them and you will be in charge of the front of house dinning table and bar area.

There will be just a few other restaurant-related tasks that could be asked of you like moving tables, chairs, and boxes of food and beverage inventory. The main role is custodial and property management, if you happen to be able to go above and beyond that let us know and we can fill the role up more for you. For example- customer service (telephone answering and reservation making via Opentable technology) prior to the 4pm open time.
