WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE…
The Property Management Division Manager will oversee the company’s property management division as well as manage a property portfolio. This role is accountable for overall leadership of the division with the goal of ensuring both value maximization for property owners, and service quality for tenants. Core responsibilities include:
- Establish relationships with our three partner groups: Property Owner Clients + Tenants + Trades & Service Providers.
- Maintain the Property Mgt. Division’s relationships with Financial Services, Leasing and Asset Management divisions.
- This hands-on role includes managing a commercial property portfolio as well as supervision of the Property Mgt. team. The Division Manager liaises directly with trades/service providers and interfaces effectively with tenants and clients.
- Monitor and report on property management and leasehold/property construction to Owners and Asset Managers.
- Oversee project management, scheduling, estimating, & negotiationsfor all leasehold and capital improvement projects.
- Gain insights into new industry trends, technologies, and government policies to identify and realize opportunities for company growth, success and competitive advantage.
- Manage all service providers, contractors and subcontractors required in property management and construction. Ensure that all vendors are competitive and accountable to deliver on all expectations.
- Mentor the division team to be the highest quality provider of property management services in our market.
- Manage all budgets, schedules, and cash flows relevant to the division.
- Review and negotiate all contracts with a keen eye for value for both the property and tenants.
- Maintain regular presence on properties to meet with subcontractors, service providers and most importantly, tenants.
WHAT YOU BRING TO ICORR…
- University degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- CCIM, BOMI RPA / FMA or IREM CPM Certification would be an asset.
- Minimum 10 years in property/facilities mgt. or construction. At least 3 years’ experience at a senior management level.
- Must have direct management experience overseeing capital projects involving significant dollar amounts and implications.
- Proven leadership and consensus building skills. Track record of establishing win-win relationships with clients, tenants and trades. Skilled in building and mentoring teams of highly engaged and motivated Property Mgt. professionals.
- Experience with property mgt. software applications and tools such as Yardi.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,999.00 per year
