We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Geriatric Psych Nurse to join our team for a travel assignment in Woodville, New Hampshire. As a Geriatric Psych Nurse, you will provide specialized care to elderly patients with psychiatric disorders. Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of New Hampshire
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Geriatric Psychiatric nursing

• Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team

• Administer and monitor psychotropic medications, as prescribed
• Implement therapeutic interventions and evidence-based practices to address patients' psychiatric needs
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting self-care and coping strategies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes
