The Hodson Bay Hotel are currently recruiting for a Public Areas Attendant to join our great team within the Accommodation department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of hotel bedrooms & public areas within the hotel and maintaining to a high standard at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department
• Follow and implement Hodson Bay Group Brand Standards
• Participate in Departmental training
• To work as part of the Accommodation Team
• Cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms to an excellent standard
• Cleaning of public areas to an excellent standard
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
• Check public areas and toilets taking corrective action where necessary
• Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

The ideal candidate must have:

• Previous hotel cleaning experience is preferred
• Good organizational skills
• Must be flexible with a strong work ethic
