Public Safety Communications Operations Manager
The County of Augusta has an opening for a Public Safety Communications Operations Manager in the Emergency Communications Center.
This person will assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Communications Center to include staffing, planning, and troubleshooting technical systems. This position reports directly to the Public Safety Communications Director and assumes the role in their absence.
This person must have a thorough knowledge of public safety dispatch practices, radio and telephone procedures in the public safety dispatch environment. The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and specialized communication courses with a minimum of three years Public Safety Dispatch Supervisory experience.
The county offers an excellent fringe benefit package. Hiring Salary is $71,411 - $74,982 DOQ.
