Position Summary & Responsibilities
This full-time equivalent professional salary to manage, monitor, and continually analyze work processes, seek new approaches and make recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our grantee and contracting process for KCDD. Plans, organizes and directs activities of a program(s) having multiple subprograms and or diverse activities; formulates policies, and interprets and directs the application of policies and guidelines; ensures work performed in compliance with KCDD policies as well as state and federal laws impacting people with I/DD

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Prior knowledge or training in direct support services to people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Bachelor’s degree required in Public Administration, Disability Studies and/or Policy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree (in a relevant field) preferred and at least one year of experience in policy, planning, organizing, and directing work of a disability organization, department, program, and/or agency. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
- Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF.
