Store Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

As store manager you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day duties that ensure the smooth operation of a puppy retail store

• Staffing:* You will be involved with hiring new staff and providing sales and floor training.*
• Inventory management: Order products, enter in system, display and promote all items in the store, oversee and maintain inventory control.
• Customer service: Maintain and monitor high standards for customer service.
• Financial management: Create financial budgets to manage costs, and make sure that store sales goals are met or exceeded.
• Puppy Care: Work with kennel staff and kennel lead to ensure all puppies are well cared for, clean and sanitized front and back of store, all pups are up to date on their vaccines. Ensure all procedures and paperwork are in accordance with local regulations and animal care guidelines.
• The primary function is to provide operational oversight, maintain budget, increase sales and overall efficiency.

The base salary for this position is $50,000 with potential bonus.

Must be a team player and ability to motivate the team. Must have computer knowledge and experience with excel, word, have good writing skills, and good with social media. Work with customers and staff on resolving issues.

Please have a work history with a minimum of 3 years' experience in retail management.
