Purchasing Agent for a Manufacturer company in
Wauconda, Il. As Purchasing Agents for SURESTAFF, you will work and negotiate with suppliers to purchase goods and services.

Purchasing Agent Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability, and other criteria
- Interviewing vendors and visiting suppliers' facilities to learn about products, services, and pricing.
- Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company.
- Verifying purchases by comparing them to a master list and recommending alternatives for expensive or irrelevant products
- Verify Receipts of Goods by Comparing Items Received to Items Ordered; Resolve Shipment Errors with Suppliers
- Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors.
- Authorizing payments and maintaining receipts, records and inventories.
- Attend industry trade shows to learn about and stay current on trends and to meet suppliers.
- Maintain Inventory levels and reports.
- Create and Process PO's for Stock
- Verify Order Quantities & Pricing
- Monitor, Track and Expedite Orders
- Manage Relationships with Suppliers to Maintain Quality of Goods, Timely Delivery & Compliance to terms of Contact.
- Delivery & Compliance to terms of Contact Phone support for customers as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned within employee scope of skills.
Purchasing Agent Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong Communication, Organization& Analytics Skills
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers and copiers.
- Computer Experience; MS Word, Excel
- Dependable & Flexible
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma
