Position Summary:

As a Purchasing Business Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business models and tools that facilitate Supplier and Commodity Market Analysis, RFQ/RFP Analysis, and Supply Chain Management. You will play a key role in generating business reports and communicating findings to senior management and business partners. Your ability to effectively manage and analyze this information is critical to the Purchasing team's success in identifying opportunities, making informed decisions, and delivering increased value to the business. You will also provide recommendations for purchasing operation plans based on your business analytics expertise.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience and a 4-year college degree in Business, Statistics, or Mathematics from an accredited institution. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and database management (Oracle) is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative analytical skills and have experience with statistical software. Additionally, they must be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and capable of providing accurate, efficient, and useful data. Our preferred candidate will be an ambitious team player. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must to effectively collaborate with personnel at all levels. The role may require extended periods of standing, sitting, moving, and using fingers, as well as occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment is typical of an office with controlled air temperatures.
