Job Summary:
the Software Test Engineer is a part of our agile software development team which is focused on rapidly designing, developing, and delivering high-quality digital solutions to improve our Customer’s and Employee’s experience throughout the home financing lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan, write and execute automated/manual test cases based on user stories for an AGILE team.
  • Document defects in TFS tracking system and execute appropriate tests on corrected defects.
  • Work independently with AGILE teams and other technical groups to communicate and resolve project issues.
  • Work within a Pulte AGILE software development process.
Management Responsibilities:

  • Delegates work according to employee’s abilities and skills.
  • Provides input to employee’s performance evaluations.
  • Assists in the identification of internal and external training opportunities.
  • Provides continuous coaching regarding functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors).

Required Education:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Required Experience:
  • 1-3 years of Software Quality Assurance experience testing on both web based, and SOA based applications.
  • Understanding and experience with all types of testing including functional, regression, system, integration, destructive and smoke testing.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including the ability to create SQL queries.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and have the technical curiosity to seek root cause of complex issues between multiple software applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in communicating information to project team members and different levels of management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems and learn complex business processes quickly.
  • Experience with multi browser testing and mobile testing a must.
  • Experience with Mortgage concepts a plus.
  • Comfortable in AGILE development environments and cross-functional team structures.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cursory knowledge of Test Automation a must.
  • Experience testing web sites in the API a plus.
  • Experience testing Cloud projects a plus.
Salary Range: $68,000 to $80,000 annually depending upon experience. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
This position is located in Englewood, CO south of Denver.
