Samuel Knight International are currently recruiting for a QA/QC Manager to join our client's team on the construction of a Utility Solar PV farm in Oahu.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the construction contractor complies with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications related to quality assurance and quality control as determined by internal stakeholders & the utility owner.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for the project
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all quality requirements
• Identify non-conformances and work with the construction contractor to develop and implement corrective actions
• Review and approve all quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and other quality records
• Ensure that all personnel involved in quality assurance and quality control activities are trained and qualified
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders regarding quality-related issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the construction industry, with a focus on specifically large-scale solar PV projects
• Strong understanding of codes and standards related to solar PV construction, including NEC, IBC, and UL
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Must be able to work in Oahu (Hawaii) and eligible to work in the US
• Salary range: $110,000 to $120,000 max.
