Quality Assurance Analyst
Full Time Salaried Position
Brandt Information Services is the leading provider of SaaS technology and marketing services for state wildlife and parks agencies. We are committed to helping public users enjoy outdoor recreation by improving their customer journey through the purchase of campground reservations, fishing and hunting licenses, boat registrations, and educational event tickets. Our state funds generated go back into conservation and outdoor recreation improvements.
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team as an integral member of our scrum team. The position will support the product manager with customer implementation and maintenance activities related to the Functional Scope by developing and executing functional test cases to ensure the delivered solution meets project requirements and handles data in a predictable, error-free fashion. The Quality Assurance Analyst reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Primary Responsibilities/Deliverables Include:
- Develop and execute functional test scenarios and tests utilizing user stories.
- Attend design meetings and document requirements sessions related to the Functional Scope.
- Provide customer production support related to the Functional Scope.
- Adhere to Brandt's Software Development Life Cycle processes within assigned scrum team.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline (candidates who are the equivalent of a junior or higher with anticipated bachelor's degree may apply).
- Ability to manage and effectively communicate time frames, expectations, and requirements.
- Current working knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to occasionally travel to Brandt offices and/or client sites with advance notice.
- Must reside and perform work duties within the continental United States.
- Must submit and pass Level II criminal background check pursuant to Brandt's contractual requirements with government agencies
Qualifications Preferred:
- 1+ years of manual QA testing experience
- Experience with SQL database
- Experience testing web-based applications
Position Location:
This is a full-time remote position within the continental United States. Brandt has office locations in Tallahassee, Florida; Hunt Valley, Maryland; and Denver, Colorado, should the selected candidate live close to one of these locations and desire to work in an office-setting. The standard work hours for this position will follow Eastern Standard Time.
Compensation & Benefits:

- An annual salary of $48,000 - $60,000 determined by factors including but not limited to previous professional experience, technical skills, qualifications and geographic location
