Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager and taking work direction from the Project Manager, the Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing test plans, completing, and maintaining standard test documentation, executing test cases, validating of creative content and assets, and participating in development and review meetings. You will be supporting the loyalty programs for major travel and hospitality clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with Project Management to scope QA efforts and managing QA timelines
  • Writing, updating and executing functional test cases
  • Ensuring HTML emails and SMS messages are built to meet client, creative and functional requirements
  • Reviewing and proofreading creative assets (design and copy) to ensure compliance to client feedback and approvals
  • Analyzing data (target audience) requirements utilizing SQL queries to ensure members have been accurately identified and exclusions applied as needed
  • Rendering emails and web pages through testing tools to ensure creative accuracy across multiple Web, Mobile and email platforms
  • Communication: Effective and detailed communication of testing status and defect details to the Project Team and Client contacts (as needed)
  • Miscellaneous troubleshooting to help identify barriers and root causes or issues found during the testing process
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance professional
  • 2+ years of experience with testing web sites, emails and email content, HTML and SMS messaging
  • 2+ years testing experience on a Content Management Systems (CMS) platform
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience writing SQL queries ability to test data using queries
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • SAFe Certification
  • Familiarity with concepts of Marketing Automation
  • Proficiency with HTML Email Testing tools such as Email on Acid or Litmus
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or scripting languages (e.g., AMPscript)
  • Basic understanding of API functionality with basic understand of using Postman (or similar tool)
  • Solid understanding on Microsoft Excel functions and features
  • Proficient understanding of relational databases
  • Use of Browser Developer Tools for testing

  • Ability to manage concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints
  • Good communication skills (written, verbal both formal & informal) and the ability to work with diverse and distributed client teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$56,467.00 - $95,993.00
