We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Quality Assurance Manager for our manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products and processes. The candidate must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the food industry and must possess a strong understanding of HACCP, SQF, OSHA, FDA, GMP, and PCQI. The candidate will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring that all quality assurance protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Manage and lead a team of quality assurance professionals to ensure that all quality assurance protocols are followed.
  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes, facilities, and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Work closely with production and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure that they are knowledgeable about quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints and concerns regarding product quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all quality assurance documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a quality assurance role in the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, SQF, OSHA, FDA, GMP, and PCQI.
  • Experience with bakery products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
