Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Reports to: VP of Engineering and Manufacturing Technology

Location: Stylex - 740 Coopertown Road, Delanco, NJ 08075

Date: May 2, 2023

Position Purpose
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for protecting Stylex's reputation for excellence by ensuring that all of our products meet the highest standards of quality. This includes working closely with other departments to identify and resolve quality issues, developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, and monitoring and reporting on quality metrics. In this position, you are a critical member of the Stylex team, and will play a key role in the company's success.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Quality Control: Create effective quality control policies and procedures; Lead problem solving initiatives for ongoing production quality issues; Devise and review specifications for products and processes; Monitor supplier compliance and address issues as they arise; Stay up-to-date on quality assurance trends and best practices.
• Communication: Collaborate with new product development on identifying expectations and requirements for production processes and purchased materials; Work closely with the factory to understand quality pain points; Support the customer by working with the internal team to resolve issues quickly.
• Leadership: Train and develop team by setting goals, and providing guidance and feedback.
• Metrics: Monitor and report metrics for quality; Ensure that improvement project milestones and goals are met.
• Teamwork: Be a part of a talented team of people who are passionate about their work.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or the sciences, or business related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience, furniture-related manufacturing experience a plus.
• Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies and root cause analysis, with a proven track record of implementing successful corrective actions.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and handle diverse situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Demonstrated passion for quality and customer satisfaction.
• Proficient in quality control software and statistical analysis.
• Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite to create, edit, and present documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,800.34 - $52,748.80 per year
