Job Description
Quality Assurance plays a crucial role in the task lifecycle of our project and retainer work; the goal is to ensure that our clients are getting the highest quality solutions for their investment, which is achieved by having a very thorough QA process.

You will be responsible for testing the output from the Development Team to ensure it is of a high standard and effectively report any issues that you discover during your testing to the correct stakeholders.

You will work alongside our Client Services and Development Teams to create sufficient test scenarios and User Acceptance Tests to test solutions end to end.

Responsibilities*

• Analysis of business requirements and the development of test scenarios, test cases and test plans based on those scenarios
• Preparation and execution of manual test cases to ensure thorough testing of requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Working with the business teams to ensure all requirements are tested
• Gathering evidence when test cases fail in the form of list of executed steps, screen shots, videos, traces of request/responses, etc
• Disciplined reporting, tracking, and resolution of product defects
• Conducting bug fixes and regression testing in advance of a software release
• Participate in the daily stand-ups
• Proactively communicating with development teams and business analysts to resolve issues or questions pertaining to test execution
• Participating in UAT calls with business stakeholders during the UAT cycle

Skills & Experience*

• Familiarity with Project Management software tools for bug tracking and ticket logging
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated, innovative, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
• Experience working as part of a QA function in an Agile environment
• Ability to construct a logical set of steps to test both positive and negative paths through a system
• Strong troubleshooting, analysis and problem resolution skills
• Have a strong QA base, knowledge in testing types & practices

Nice to Have

• A working understanding of leading ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento and BigCommerce
• Understanding of basic underlying technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS will definitely be an advantage.
