Job Description

The Quality Control Specialist II performs various requests from setting up to maintaining loans from different areas of the bank including lenders, branches and Customer service.

Depth & Scope:

Performs varied, often complex, administrative tasks involved in checking and verifying files, work, and information submitted by other Employees, vendors, or Customers
Performs work that occasionally requires originality and innovation, but usually falls within standard policies and procedures
Evaluates assigned files to detect possible fraudulent activities
Takes appropriate primary action and elevates files with suspected fraudulent activities to supervisor or specific departments as appropriate, often with analysis and recommendations
Contacts Customers, vendors, or other Employees to exchange information and investigate discrepancies

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
3-5 Years of related experience
Knowledge of Company policy and applicable regulations
Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge, research, and understanding to a specific problem or file in order to facilitate resolution
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize activities based on business objectives
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to apply techniques to research and uncover questionable information in reviewed work
Ability to resolve problems efficiently and tactfully with minimal coaching or direction

Customer Accountabilities:

Understands and supports the Bank's Customer Service Strategy
Considers the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its Customers and stakeholders
Provides the highest level of Customer service when dealing with internal partners, vendors or our Customers - WOW at every opportunity
Models quality service delivery at every interaction
Leads and contributes to the ongoing improvement of the partner/Customer experience within the team
