Your Job
Our facility in Phillips, WI is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing of injection molded parts and assembly.
What You Will Do
- Acknowledgment and understanding of General Quality Agreements, General Quality Requirements, and standards, as set by each customer
- Responsible for being a communication liaison between the customer and manufacturing facility
- Interpret and negotiate requirements to meet customer needs
- Implement systems and procedures that assure compliance with Quality Standards
- Monitors production processes and products for adherence to company and regulatory standards and practices
- Develop and implement statistical incoming and in-process sampling/control plans
- Uses quality tools to implement improvements including process flowcharting, Pareto analysis, statistical process control, gauge repeatability and reproducibility, and trend analysis techniques
- Planning (APQP) including, but not limited to complaint analysis, risk analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, CAPA, and process/equipment verification / validation
- Assists the development of essential QMS deliverables/Advanced Product Quality
- Maintain detailed performance metrics for key customers and drive continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot and lead corrective actions relating to performance metrics using data based, structured, problem-solving methodology
- Be a technical resource for the initiation and implementation of quality and/or cost improvement plans on new and existing programs
- Facilitate communication between engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Continued education in a Quality and/or Engineering discipline OR a minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality and/or regulatory environment
- Knowledge of injection molding
- Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 / ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Experience working with an ERP system (SAP)
- Experience analyzing statistical data
