Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is now pleased to invite applications for the position Quality Graduate
The Quality Graduate will work with assigned members of the Site and Central Quality team throughout the graduate program. During the program the primary objective for the graduate is to develop knowledge and hands on experience on how to interpret, define, implement and measure compliance with the requirements set out within the relevant regulatory & certification standards and the Dairygold QMS system and to gain experience on product manufacturing to maximise product Right First Time%. To deliver this objective, coaching and training on core compliance monitoring skills and competencies will be pivotal. At the end of the program, the Quality graduate should have the skills, experience and behavioural qualities to become a full-time member of the Quality function.
Core responsibilities for this role include:
- Completion of audits as assigned, to measure food safety compliance and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Involvement in investigations by assisting with data gathering, analysis and action closure tracking.
- Compilation of data for defined KPI¿s and reporting at relevant forums.
- Documenting & updating procedures and report writing
- Design and preparation of Metrics
- Ability to input to Oracle/LIMS and other IT systems as required
- Build knowledge of running OBIEE reports relating to stocks
- Assist with coaching and training front line team members on food safety standards & systems.
- Completion of projects & assignments as assigned.
- Understand the manufacturing processes and controls in place to ensure product is made Right First Time
Candidates for this position must possess:
- A relevant 3rd level qualification
- Be prepared to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
- Strong technical ability.
- Strong analytical and excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
- Demonstrate initiative.
- Be self-motivated and prepared to be flexible when the occasion demands.
- Good communicator ¿ verbal & written.
- Proactive approach to supporting Quality & relevant stake holders in achieving required best practice and compliance targets.
