The Quality Manager is responsible for the quality management system; quality department; and the programming and set-up of the computer numerical control (CNC) mills in the Wixom facilities, including Classic Precision, Hosco, and Integrated Dispense Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the quality management system and quality department staff
• Conducts first-piece and final inspections
• Communicates with the customers’ quality personnel to coordinate quality requirements
• Writes standard operating procedures for quality management system
• Participates with management in determining the viability of new programs
• Programs and sets up the CNC mills
• Assists in the processing of new parts
• Helps CNC operators and programmers with trouble-shooting
• Tracks raw material certifications
• Keeps the process sheets up to date
• Estimates run and set-up times to assist sales management with quotes
• Tracks training levels of employees and maintains training records
• Leads quality meetings; participates in meetings with other departments, suppliers, and customers
• Complies with company’s business and human resources policies; work rules; safety requirements; quality standards; standard operating procedures; CLIA, HIPAA, OIG requirements and applicable local, State, and Federal regulations
• Performs other related duties as needed and assigned

Requirements

• Two years of technical or trade school or specialized training or education beyond high school. Four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with PCDMIS and Hexagon CCM programming.
• Experience with AS9100 Quality Standards and MIOSHA / Safety Requirements
• Experience with Machining Technologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
