The Quality Manager performs a variety of training and managementduties as needed to assure the ongoing compliance with quality standards and specifications are being met. This position works with a variety of individuals at Innovative Labsincluding but not limited to the Quality Team, management and customers.This position is part of a team atmosphere focused on achieving excellence in quality manufacturing. The atmosphere is energetic with the ability to be flexible while working in a regulatory environment.

As a Quality Manager, you will:

• Oversees the quality management system at a manufacturing facility for dietary supplements and foods.
• Assistsin ongoing training activities designed to keep employees knowledgeable and informed of SOP’s methods and GMP’s
• Oversees personnel, training and functions including employee hiring and performance plans.
• Performs updates to documentation systems as needed.
• Assist in the management of the company Food Safety and HACCP program.
• Oversee product analytical lab testing and instrument calibration.
• Interprets quality requirements and implements solutions and improvements.
• Oversees incoming product, in processproduct and or finished good product quality inspections, testing and releases .
• Supportsthe management if internal traceability and quality control systems.
• May perform or host audits from customersand certifying agenciesas necessary.
• Monitors and performs plant auditing system and performs corrective actions.
• Performs CAPA investigations and documentation.
• Responsible for all quality related documentation at facility.
• Assists in cross functionality of the quality team and other inter departmental teams.
• Responsible to work alongside manufacturing to maintain high quality standards throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must possess the ability to encourage others.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 6+ years related experience
• Management experience is required
