PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Assumes responsibility for the profitability, productivity and maintenance of all crushing facilities and related equipment and resources.

2. Establishes, monitors and controls quarry operating cost, prepares budget/forecasts/reports. Manages inventories and maintains proper balance for continued operations.

3. Works with Quarry Materials Manager to ensure employee compliance with MSHA, dust control and other environmental and safety regulations.

4. Implements and executes plan to efficiently mine A&B grade materials to meet market demand.

5. Oversees safety meetings; provides or arranges training to keep employees MSHA compliant.

6. Oversees all maintenance repairs and planning.

7. Reviews and analyzes production/cost reports and works with sales team to be Oahu's low-cost provider.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

9. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.

10. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS:
Education: College degree

Experience: 5 years of proven progressively responsible experience in quarry and/or construction production/management required.

Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Email. Adaptable to in-house software. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Calculator: 10 key by touch.

Math: Ability to use math functions to produce budgets and other financial reports as requested.

Reading: Must be able to read and understand job, legal and technical requirements.

Blueprint Reading Material specifications and elevators.

Licenses: Must have valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.
