Job description

The R&D Lead Scientist will assist the R&D department in conducting experiments and research as directed. This position will also supervise and lead an assigned quality control team through the daily activities in the Laboratory to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of tasks.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

1. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

2. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

3. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of management and vendors.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to read and understand instructions and materials in English.

5. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

6. Thorough understanding of FDA and cGMP compliance regulations.

7. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting applications, SAP Business One, and other related software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor degree of Science in Chemistry, Microbiology or Biology.

2. Working knowledge of scientific instrumentation and techniques.

3. Working knowledge of Regulatory, cGMP, and FDA regulations

4. Proficient computer knowledge including but not limited to basic spreadsheet functions and word processing.

5. 2-4 years Audit experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical facility.

6. 2-4 years supervisory experience.

7. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
