• Correlates clinical education with didactic education.

  Coordinates clinical education at multiple sites and evaluates its effectiveness.

  Preceptor for new clinical instructors.

• 
  Cooperates with the Program Director in periodic review and revision of clinical course

  Supervises, evaluates, and counsels students in clinical and didactic education.

• 
  Prepares and maintains course outlines and objectives; instructs didactic courses and reports

• 
  Maintains clinical competence and stays current in clinical and technical advances.

• 
  Stays current in educational processes and developments.

• 
  Active participation on Admissions and Advisory Committees.

• 
  Maintains a sound professional rapport with physicians and all hospital staff.

• 
  Communicates problems/grievances with students and staff and proposed solutions to the

  Develops and implements feedback mechanisms in the clinical setting and between multiple

• 
  Represents CHI Health in hospital and community activities.

• 
  Maintains an active BLS certification.

• 
  Maintains established department policies, procedure and objectives, concerning quality

  Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth through participation in

department meetings, in-service programs, and continuing education programs.

  Participates in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department. Completes the required hours of continuing education in order to maintain certification in all assigned imaging modalities.

  Maintains professional attitude with patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel while

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years’ experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiographer ARRT(R) certification
• Current Nebraska Medical Radiographers License
• Three years of full-time clinical experience as a Radiographer; Clinical and technical familiarity with all radiologic procedures; previous radiology teaching experience
• One year full-time didactic instructor in a JRCERT approved program
