Garrett Realty Partners is actively seeking a residential Real Estate Assistant to support a high producing real estate agent. The primary purpose of this position is to provide transaction and file management, customer service to clients and co-brokes, support to the agent and the Executive Sales Assistant. This opportunity will allow the right candidate to showcase their skills in multi-tasking, customer service, problem solving, file management and a superior commitment to a job well done. This opportunity will also provide immense education on how transactions are handled and communicated throughout the Hampton Roads Real Estate Market. There is room for flexibility in the role after a few weeks in-office are complete, meaning once established and confident in the role, office hours can be adjusted to allow for flexibility because of the on-call requirements of this position. Real Estate is a 24/7 industry so nights and weekends will be required. This would include fielding client phone calls, scheduling showings, negotiating contracts, transaction deadlines, etc. Office hours will be in our Newport News, Virginia location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Verify, correct and maintain all client records
- Scheduling showings with agents and sellers
- Scheduling appraisals, home inspections, other inspections, as needed
- Coordinating with the MLS office
- Coordinating with the field runner department
- Coordinating open houses and lock box access
- Coordinating client requirements with local corporations
- Coordinating client requirements with local government offices
- Monitoring compliance of Laws and Regulations
- Facilitating seamless contact between Agents and Clients
Candidate must have experience in:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and execute items according to a process
- Superior customer service skills in written and verbal correspondence
- Ability to prioritize tasks to guarantee timely execution
- Ability to work independently
- Real Estate transaction file management
Additional Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma
- Active Virginia Real Estate License
- Reliable transportation
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
