Real-Time Analytics Data Science Executive Director
Job description
Specifically, the problem space includes two areas of overlapping focus: 1. low-latency streaming analytics and 2. graph machine learning for highly connected data sets. You will work closely with your product, engineering, and other peers to design, validate, and deliver viable solutions. You will also play a key role in setting strategies in partnership with Technology and business stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of high performing data scientists to help them grow in their careers
- Design machine learning systems and methods to 1. produce low-latency and 2. Graph ML data products for use case consumption
- Advise on the development of a new real-time complex event processing system and a new graph database
- Provide thought leadership on new ways to solve business problems by leveraging real-time data and machine learning
- Continuously look for ways to increase speed to market of real-time data science
- Work cross-functionally with technology, product, and other critical functions in an Agile method
- Present findings and recommendations for action to peers, partners, stakeholders and product leaders within the company
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 8+ years of experience of building machine learning models for production systems
- Experience with graph theory, graph databases, and graph data science preferred
- Experience working on a real-time streaming, event based architecture preferred
- 5+ years of experience working with Agile methodology
- 3+ Experience as a people leader
- Business acumen and strong communication skills, particularly when articulating technical matters to a broad and senior audience
- Familiarity with AWS technologies and best practices a plus
