Our office is located in Tukwila near SouthCenter Mall and with easy access to I5, 405, and 167. Our employees enjoy the convenient location near hundreds of stores and restaurants. VERIFICATION SPECIALIST: The verifications specialist acts as a bookkeeper for our clients. They verify what insurance has paid, who needs reimbursing, and what bills can be negotiated. Comfortability on the phone and using spreadsheets are key skills for this role. Our clients are comfortable knowing that we guarantee every bill will be accounted for when a settlement is reached.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Checks in medical records immediately when received.
• Update PIP and Health Insurance ledgers as information is collected, ensuring that charged and paid amounts are equal.
• Immediately contacts providers to received missing dates of service as soon as discovered.
• Actively communicates with other departments when new providers or dates of service are discovered

• Send letters to insurance companies requesting removal of unrelated dates of service or overpayments as discovered.

• Actively communicates with providers as to the status of accounts, payments made and by whom, past due amounts and any collection notices sent.

• Reassigns and moves cases to demand as soon as final ledger is complete.

• Document everything, including all email correspondence, discussions, and time spent in Abacus Law.
