Scheduled shifts will vary based off scheduled programs, events, and operational needs of Leisure Services Department.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs professional recreation services arranging for and carrying out short-term programs and activities for specific populations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Plans and supervises activities and field trips for specific populations, utilizing available community resources.

Plans and supervises neighborhood and community group activities which may include a variety of programs, dances, and arts and crafts.

Issues and supervises use of equipment and materials.

Responds to inquires from the public about specific programs.

Conducts after school tutor program for specific populations.

Assists in the organization and operation of leagues, tournaments, and special events.

Operates the concessions in the center; responsible for related financial accountability.

Receives fees and issues receipts to customers

Performs light janitorial tasks and maintenance of facilities as needed. Assist in the maintenance of the general appearance and cleanliness of facilities.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
