Camp Cannabis is looking for a cultivation associate to report directly to the Cultivation Manager. Must be 21 years or older to apply. Experience in the cannabis industry required.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced cultivator to work in our cultivation facility to report directly to the Cultivation Manager and owners.

Position Requirements:

• 21 years or older with a valid Maine Office of Cannabis Policy Individual Identification Card or ability to obtain one by passing a comprehensive background check.

• Must be a resident of Maine, or have the ability to be one.

• Ability to reliably commute.

• Proven cannabis cultivation experience.

• Passion for the plant and a commitment to high quality.

• Ability to perform physically demanding job, which requires walking, stooping, bending, use of ladders, heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.

• Ability to work within an indoor facility that may encounter seasonal temperatures.

• Strive for excellence in all aspects of job, good attention to detail.

• Proficient in the Maine State Adult Use Cannabis Program Regulations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Works with Cultivation Manager to plan for growing activities that are consistent with planned production schedules.

• Perform cleaning and maintenance procedures to ensure efficient operation.

• Work within Maine Adult Use Cannabis laws and regulations and follow the Camp Cannabis standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the cultivation facility.

• Demonstrate expert cannabis knowledge on topics such as, but not limited to, industry trends, local regulations, testing, and general cannabis science.

• Absolute reliability and honesty.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

• Takes direction from Cultivation Manager for duties such as cloning, transplanting, watering, feeding, labeling, monitoring growth and climate, inspecting plants, harvesting and curing procedures.

• Preparation and packaging of all cannabis products to be sold wholesale.

• Operating and maintaining cultivation systems/equipment: monitoring, calibrating, running, and maintaining lighting, irrigation, climate control, and other cultivation systems; stocking and handling production inputs and supplies; sanitizing and cleaning growing areas, cultivation workspaces, and tools

• Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to; state compliance and security protocols.

• Other duties assigned by manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
