We are currently expanding our services offered and are looking for Recreational therapist (CTRS) or a students currently sitting for their exams . Our company currently works with Oakland, Monroe, Wayne, Calhoun, Kent and Washtenaw County . We are starting to onboard for Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Jackson and Wayne Counties.

Job Description:

• Design and implement one-on-one treatment sessions to address specific needs of the client
• Create treatment plans, chart service reviews, and record weekly process notes through our online server
• Schedule treatments session on an individual basis with the client
• Communicate effectively with client’s family, caregivers, and company administration
• Review client’s functional status through assessments in accordance with ICF (International Classification of Functioning)
• Fulfill a 6-month service contract with ATS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Based on county, you might be required to show proof of First Aid Certification

• Minimum of a Degree in recreational therapy
• Basic knowledge of individuals with all ranges of disabilities
• No prior experience needed; training is provided
• National certification in recreational therapy must be obtained before starting solo recreational therapy treatment sessions
• If sitting for certification, will start with shadowing other treatment sessions until certification is acquired
• Reliable transportation is necessary
• Compassionate, fun individual who plays well with others
