Cheema Transport Inc. is trucking company with dedicated lanes from CA to TX. We are hiring a Driver Recruiter to support our recruiting department and assist in our safety department.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with recruiting, human resources, transportation, and/or safety division. You will be responsible for executing daily tasks including; recruiting, compliance, on-boarding, and creating a positive business environment for long-term retention of company drivers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively recruit Company Driver and Owner Operators
• Manages the necessary sourcing and advertising of openings.
• Works with transportation management and facilities management to identify staffing needs and requirements. Must be able to track and report on all activities on a routine basis
• Maintain DOT compliance during recruitment and hiring process; Complete candidate DOT and personnel files according to DOT regulations
• Reviewing weekly on Driver performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work side by side with HR and handle front desk duties as needed
• Assist safety/compliance department as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Experience in Logistics/transportation industry (Highly preferred)
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects/tasks in a fast pace, changing environment.
• Knowledgeable of DOT compliance and regulations (Highly preferred)
• Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and ability to know how to operate with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced and changing environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
