We are currently looking to recruit a full time Recruitment Consultant (Talent Specialist) to join our highly successful and expanding Waterford team.

What’s involved…

The role of a Talent Specialist (TS) is highly skilled and challenging.

A high performance TS will at times be involved in complex decision making relating to life changing situations for candidates, and key milestone decisions for client companies.

He /she will need to develop skills to engage and influence people using factual information, ethical techniques and highly developed interpersonal skills. The TS must have high IQ and EQ and will be able to act as a skilled broker to bring parties together for mutually beneficial outcomes whilst working to the highest industry standards and values.


No candidates are the same. No companies are the same. And no day is ever the same.

Once trained, every day will present the TS with judgement calls, decisions and situations that need to be handled with great professional skill.

The Ideal Person

  • A 3rd level qualification would be highly desirable
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • Creative –you must have the ability to think laterally and find solutions where others see roadblocks
  • A technical aptitude (e.g. the ability to learn about tech roles quickly) would be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
  • Committed – recruitment is not for the faint hearted! It’s a very rewarding role for people who like working with other people, and who are committed to excellence in customer service.
  • You’ve got to be able to multi-task – there’s always lots to be done!
  • Team – we have a great team so we always hire great team players. We want to work with people who fit in well with our team and our culture, and who also have a sense of humour!
  • Strong PC/IT skills. Ideally a good knowledge of social media also.
