We at BBS are seeking a dynamic Behavior Technician to join our family. Applicants MUST be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing. We are willing to train for the right applicant.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years experience in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education, and/or autism services.

A BLS Certification is required before hire.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct therapy services under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/ BCaBA)
• Following explicit instructions on behavioral techniques
• Tracking therapy session data using an electronic data collection system via tablet
• Generating written daily progress notes
• Assisting with behavioral assessments
• Taking feedback effectively
• Adhering to ethical guidelines
• Exhibiting sensitivity to the Autism community
• Creating a positive learning environment
• Communicating progress with families and teachers
• Projecting a professional demeanor in clients' homes and schools
• Driving between clients' homes and schools with reliable transportation

The applicant must be comfortable sitting on the floor, standing for long periods, and lifting 50+ lbs. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Service locations may be in home and school.

Served locations may include: Niceville, Valparaiso, Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Shalimar, Eglin AFB

Part-time 10+ hours per week available.

About Us

Bluewater Behavioral Services is a family and veteran-owned organization located in Niceville, Fl. We provide in home, school, and community ABA services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities throughout Okaloosa County.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
