Origin Nutrition is a nutrition private practice working remotely to serve the community. We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team! This is a part time, independent contractor position with flexible hours. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will be 100% remote. We are looking for a dynamic individual with outpatient nutrition counseling experience. Although we do see a wide variety of clients, our primary focus is working with individuals with disordersered eating and chronic conditions as well as providing performance nutrition for all levels of athletes.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling to individuals and groups

· Perform nutrition assessments, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation

· Counsel and provide nutrition education to clients using individualized approaches through in-person consultation, handouts, presentations and interactive virtual practices

· Communicate with interdisciplinary team regarding client care as well as referrals to other providers and community programs as needed

· Develop and present nutrition education classes, lectures etc to community, sports teams, groups and more

· Create social media and marketing materials for practice

· Maintain adequate and up to date electronic medical records using HIPAA compliant software

· Build and maintain meal strategies to meet client goals

· Maintain up to date Registered Dietitian credentials and continuing education requirements with CDR and AND

Minimum Qualifications

· Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

· Successful completion of a Dietetic Internship approved by ACEND

Desired qualifications

• Master’s level education in nutrition or similar field
• 3 + years experience in sports nutrition
• Previously credentialed with insurance companies a plus
• Biliguel is preferred (spanish)

Hours: Work hours and schedule may vary depending on the number of patients per week. Dietitian is not guaranteed a minimum number of patients or sessions per week.

Compensation ·$20-28 (negotiable)

Independent contractor, 1099 position. ·

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
