Title : Registered Nurse 1 (On Site)

Location : Arlington, Tennessee 38002

Duration : 4+ Month’s contract with the possibility of extension

Shift hours : 7pm to 8 am

NO OT allowed unless approved by manager in advance.

RN1 position works 37.5 (3 12 hour shifts) per week.

Mandatory every other weekend.

Pediatric experience required.

Bedside nursing positionworking with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Community setting with 4 individuals per home with caseload every shift of up to 8 people located in Arlington, TN.

Bedside nursing duties include G-Tube, G/J Tube and J-Tube usage for nutrition, hydration and medication administration. Trach care knowledge and usage. Vent-dependent individual care knowledge a plus.

Conducts a thorough review of the assigned individual’s health information documents and submits quarterly & annual assessment electronically to appropriate staff. Trains staff involved in the care of the individual and ensures documentation of this training

Attends planning meetings (POS & ISP) for assigned individuals and presents information prepared.

Ensures all duties and responsibilities specific to shift are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the specified timeline.

Completes all courses assigned in Relias and Edison in a timely manner.

Enters all payable time and timesheets in a timely manner for correct pay period.

Exhibits compliance with all Infection Control Safety Precautions as necessary including completing screening tool, wearing mask, frequent hand washing and social distancing.

Administers all medications according to Safe Medication Administration.

Ensures that all controlled drugs are counted at the beginning and end of assigned shift, and documented, with any variances reported immediately to Director of nursing/Nurse on-call.

Reports all medication variances within 1 hour of occurrence/discovery to the Director of Nursing/Nurse on-call.

Will have a thorough understanding of all medications administered including: indication for use, side effects, administration guidelines, warnings and any other considerations relevant to the medication administered.

Salary: $32.61 - $51.00 per hour
