Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Larned State Hospital, KS Contract Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred but not always required.
- Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing is highly desirable.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, pharmacology, crisis intervention, and therapeutic interventions.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $25.55 - $45.00 per hour
