Essential Duties:

As a Clinical Nurse III, you will perform a variety of tasks specific to the needs of the patient population in the Hepatobiliary Surgery Program, including the following.

• Assist the Assistant Nurse Manager with coordination of patient care, retrieval of diagnostic work-up, data entry into CS-Link
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for the expert application of the nursing process and delivery of patient care
• Serves as a patient advocate in the program
• Maintains competency skills including the ability to provide care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds
• Identify the ability of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patients to follow direction/instructions and give consent
• Identify safety concerns and institute measures to provide a safe environment

Educational Requirements:

Associate Degree in nursing required.
BSN preferred

Licenses:

Current California RN license required
BLS certification required
Specialty Certification

Experience:

3 years of relevant acute care experience required

Physical Demands:

The physical ability and perceptive acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions
