Introducing UPMC Travel Staffing Regional, UPMC’s local travel staffing department that allows you to provide care at UPMC hospitals within the greater Pittsburgh area. You’ll rotate to a new UPMC facility every six weeks, giving you the opportunity to experience our hospitals and grow your professional network throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. UPMC is hiring full-time, permanent Med/Surg RNs who are interested in joining our UPMC Travel Staffing regional team supporting our patients in southwest PA. With assignments all located within a 30-minute drive of downtown Pittsburgh, you can take advantage of the perks of travel nursing with minimal travel!

This position pays $60/hour with a $2/hour shift differential and an additional $1.50/hour charge RN differential. Plus, eligible RNs with 1+ years of experience receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year work commitment.

• Demonstrated competence in professional nursing practice
• One year of nursing experience required; Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Ability to travel to all UPMC facilities in the Pittsburgh region including (but not limited to): UPMC Children's, UPMC East, UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, UPMC McKeesport, UPMC Mercy, UPMC Passavant (McCandless and Cranberry), UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Shadyside, UPMC St. Margaret, and UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital.
• Willing to rotate assignments on a six-week basis, with potential to redeploy to another facility mid-assignment
• Work 36 hours/week; 72 hours/bi-weekly pay period, including (but not limited to): day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Experience with Cerner or Epic electronic health record systems preferred
• Must pass UPMC basic arrythmia and critical care challenge exams

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• PA Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 30 days of hire
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within 60 days of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 30 days of hire
