We are seeking to fill the position of Nurse Supervisor RN or LPN for Evening and Night Shift - Full-Time.

Job Summary for Nurse Supervisor RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nursing unit activities.
  • Maintain accepted nursing standards and practices, and assists in developing and maintaining nursing service objectives.
  • Check all ill residents early in the shift, make periodic assessments, report changes.
  • Set Resident Assessment protocols and interdisciplinary care plans.
  • Assess residents on admission and initiate interim care plan.
  • Assist in evaluating ancillary personnel.
  • Communicate policies/procedures to ancillary staff, residents, families and visitors.
  • Uphold infection control policies/practices and those of the Quality Assurance & Improvement Committee.
  • Delegate duties appropriately and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Render emergency care as needed, report to supervisor, submit complete, accurate, and timely incident reports.

Qualifications for Nurse Supervisor RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
  • MA RN or LPN License.
  • Must be able to supervise ancillary staff and delegate duties to unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Must be able to assess changes in condition from resident's baseline and respond to these changes appropriately.
