Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.

SUMMARY

:

A Registered Nurse utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for the continuity and quality of nursing care administered to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients before, during, and after diagnostic testing and procedures. The level of care delivered is consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Department of Imaging Services and Hospital Administration. The RN must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and competency including but not limited to understanding the stages of growth and development across the life span, age appropriate communication and ensuring a safe patient environment to those served by the Department of Imaging Services

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Experience: Must have at least one year of experience in Radiology nursing. BLS / ACLS Provider Certification required for employment.

License: Have a current license issued by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
