Registered Nurse, RN - Pre Surgical Testing PT
Job description
The Registered Nurse / RN will work within the Pre-Surgical Testing Dept., which is responsible for preparing, in advance, all patients scheduled for an operative procedure. The Mission of Pretesting is to completely prepare and clear all patients scheduled for surgery prior to their admission date and prevent surgery cancellations and delays.
The Registered Nurse / RN can be responsible for chart production, nursing database, assessments, complete history and physicals, anesthesia preparation and clearance, operative consents, patient education and discharge planning.
Hours:
- Part Time, 24hrs per week
- Day shift 8a-4:30p
- 3 - 8 hour shifts
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or currently enrolled within 6 months of hire
- Must have a minimum of one year experience
