Visiting Angels is a non-medical home care agency that schedules certified home health aides (caregivers) to provide non-medical ADL assistance to seniors in need in our community. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team as Nurse Supervisor and will participate in all aspects of overseeing client care. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Our territory includes Asbury Park, Avon, Belmar, Brielle, Farmingdale, Freehold, Howell, Manasquan, Neptune, Ocean, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Tinton Falls & Ocean. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing assessments for new clients as needed and re-assessments (every 60 days)
• Composing an appropriate plan of care for each client
• Performing monthly phone interviews with clients
• Caregiver supervision
• Caregiver hiring and competency testing
• Caregiver orientation as needed

This is a per diem position and is ideal for someone who is looking for extra income and/or looking for a change to a lighter work environment. You have the flexibility to create your own schedule among existing clients, however, would need to be available to open new clients on an as needed basis (with notice). If you do not have homecare experience, this is an extremely flexible position with room to grow as we obtain new clients. We have wonderful caregivers and great clients who appreciate what we do in the community!

Minimum required experience:

Must be Vaccinated and Boosted for Covid-19

BS in nursing or health-related field, plus two years of professional experience as an Registered Nurse in community or home health.

OR

RN + three years of professional experience as an Registered Nurse in community or home health with progressive nursing responsibilities.

Accreditation policies and procedures and survey experience is a plus!

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
