The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for the coordination and quality of care and services to residents on an assigned unit in accordance with Federal, State and local standards and regulations. The RN Unit Manager is a member of the nurse management team. This position shares responsibility for adequate coverage including rotational weekends, as needed. Participates in Department Meetings, Quality Improvement endeavors, Team Committees, policy and procedure development, as warranted. Assures regulatory compliance on Unit. Reports to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of New York. (Required)
- Bachelor of Science in a Health related field (Preferred)
- Experience in Long Term Care (Preferred)
- Leadership expertise (Required)
- PRI Assessor (Preferred)
- MDS knowledgeable (Preferred)
- I.V. Certifications and Basic Life Support Certification
Job Type: Full-Time
12 HOUR SHIFTS AVAILABLE
Rate: $47 - $55 depending on exprience and interview.
