A high quality, fun, fast-paced veterinary hospital located in beautiful Mishawaka, IN is seeking a full time veterinary technician to complement our veterinary team. We are looking for a compassionate and highly motivated individual who values exceptional client service in addition to outstanding patient care. Our facility is state of the art and is equipped with digital radiology, digital dentistry, ultrasound, endoscopy, and alternative medicine such as acupuncture. We are located with an hour of Chicago and 45min to Lake Michigan and a mile from South Bend, in a vibrant college town home to Notre Dame.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient procedures: preparation of patients, instruments, equipment and medications
• Manage appointments: obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.
• Plan, organize, and manage the daily flow of services
• Ensure our patients receive the highest quality care
• Inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete

Qualifications:

• State of Indiana Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
• Ability to place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, assist with radiographs
• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Shift: The position is full time. You will be required to work occasional weekends.
