The responsibilities of the Release Management Developer are as follows:
- Communicating with and supporting development and test teams in maintaining all the customers environments
- Investigating issues that arise in test environments, covering a variety of technologies (Docker, Tomcat, Weblogic)
- Working with the customers incident management tools (SPIRA) & procedures
- Working with the customers CMDB / Service Desk tool
- Occasionally working outside of core work hours to resolve critical incidents on core systems
Essential Experience
- Experience working in standards driven environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies as required.
- Analytical and problem solving.
- Understanding of how to perform basic UNIX tasks (navigation, file manipulation, editing).
- Strongly desirable to have some experience with Docker
- An understanding of the following methodologies
- Waterfall
- Agile
