Eaton’s B-Line division is currently seeking a Maintenance Reliability and Facilities Manager.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $88499.97 - $129799.96 a year.

What you’ll do:
- Promote a zero incident culture by enforcing safety principles. Administer first aid and conduct accident investigations as needed
- Demonstrated leadership style on Doing Business Right and developing the team to embrace the same. - Responsible for establishing the direction, focus, and motivation of the Maintenance / Die Maintenance / Tool Room hourly personnel while promoting a non-routine task mindset.
- Promote strong employee engagement through communication, employee development, teamwork, and recognition.
- Oversees and/or conducts training of new or existing employees to support on-going maintenance needs. Schedule work activities for personnel, review personnel work performances, and provide feedback, coordinate safety and personnel training activities.
- Counsel employees on behavior/performance issues and initiate disciplinary action as required within the confines of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Assure that appropriate tools / resources are available to the Maintenance / Die Maintenance / Tool Room personnel.
- Supports attainment of plant objectives through effective communications with other stakeholders within the business.
- Apply cost containment principals when purchasing goods and services. Be able to operate within and below budget expectations.
- Interfaces with other departments and contractors to ensure day to day and project completion - Development of a Preventive Maintenance (PM) process, with audit controls and compliance metrics. - Development of the maintenance technicians’ competencies.
- Begin the advancement of proactive and predictive technologies such as IR, Ultrasonic, Vibration Analysis, and Lubrication Analysis.
- Responsible for leading the movement on Total Predictive Maintenance, with emphasis on activities and participation.
- Responsible for existing, new capital, and obsolete asset deployment and disposals.
- Responsible for becoming the Subject Matter Expert in LOTO for the facility (with collaborative partnership provided by the EHS Specialist).
- Develop a System to live in a PDCA environment towards the target of 90% available uptime.
- Work with the Plant Leadership Team to establish project priorities and capital plans. - Support continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of safety, quality, equipment, productivity, etc.
- Develop and recommend improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. Lead and facilitate continuous improvement events
- Allocate the necessary resources to meet external and internal commitments while controlling costs.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists personnel in solving work problems including troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
- Work with production planning personnel and production supervisors to prioritize machine repairs / maintenance activities on assets.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED AND 10 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of maintenance and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills:
- Relevant computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, compliance software).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States on an on-going basis without Company sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 55 miles of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered. Position Criteria:
- Solid Eaton leadership competencies.
- Ability to negotiate with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experienced with working in a PM System.
- Strong understanding of budget control.
- Great problem solving skills. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manager of people role.
- Experience in a union environment.
- Experience in metal fabrication.
- SAP business system experience.
- Experience implementing and sustaining a TPM program.
